Location - Southern Highlands, NSW. Designed for a Barrister and his wife
who like Country Style weatherboard buildings. Due to the Northerly
slope of the property and the desired house site, we created 3 separate
wings: Master Bed Suite to the East, guest beds, bath and laundry to the
West and a large central living/dining/kitchen wing with a dramatic cross
cathedral ceiling of polished timber. Due to the long narrow design, all rooms face North. With polished hard-wood floors through-out, clad
externally in weathered cedar and a corrugated steel roof. The
surrounding 5 acres were also landscaped. |
