1995, Location - Sydney, NSW. Originally a c.1960s white painted, two storey concrete block, tile roofed residence.  The land is very narrow with river views over a bushland reserve. Our Client, a single woman, with significant accommodation requirements, wanted a master plan which included the building and garden. This was made challenging by the local authority restrictions. The main concern was to solve existing dampness problems, improve internal planning & room proportions, increase light and ventilation to as many rooms as possible, whilst considering western sun loading.
